Processing Tyro EFTPOS Card Not Present Transactions

Card not present transactions in Tyro EFTPOS differ from those in PC EFTPOS where you nominate the credit card as a manual credit card and then, when you are processing the payment, Micronet asks for the credit card details.

To process card not present transactions in Tyro EFTPOS.

  1. Enable MOTO (Mail Order/Telephone Order) in the Tyro terminal configuration (on the PINpad itself).

MOTO allows the manual entry of credit cards.

  1. When processing the payment, enter the normal EFTPOS payment type.

The terminal will ask you to swipe but also provides a selection on the screen for MOTO.

  1. Select MOTO and then manually enter the credit card details on the PINpad itself.
